Our Favourite Things in Paris
After beating those holiday blues post-Christmas, the excitement always starts to build in January when we plan our annual trip to Paris! The main reason for us as a design team to visit Paris is to of course attend Maison et Objet and Déco Off. Here we can get inspired by seeing the launch of new collections from not only our existing suppliers, but also hopefully for us to meet new contacts in our ever-changing industry. There is also the added bonus of attending some fabulous parties!
When in Paris, we always make time to spend at least a day to enjoy the city. Whether it is going to Angelina on Rue de Rivoli to enjoy their famous hot chocolate, visiting the beautiful Musée D'Orsay to reacquaint ourselves with Renoir and Monet or just simply taking a walk along the Seine and absorbing the architecture – it must be done. It is also a reminder that this charming city is so close and accessible to London; that we don’t always have to wait for January to plan our next visit.
